About This Role
We are looking for happy, loving, well rounded, enthusiastic teachers for several of our classrooms. We operate August through May and follow Greenville County Schools Calendar. We have classes with children ranging in age from 3 months to 2.5 years old. We are open Mondays through Fridays, 9:00-2:00pm with early stay options starting at 8:00am and late stay going until 2:15pm. We are a registered part-time childcare ministry of First Presbyterian Church.
All Childcare Workers should exhibit the following characteristics as a Staff Member of First Pres Church:
Adhere to all DSS and DHEC regulations and all First Presbyterian Church policies and procedures.
Ensure physical and emotional safety of all children in your care.
Meet all basic needs of all children in your care.
Nurture children in a manner that demonstrates Christ's love.
Maintain relationships with parents.
Manage classroom effectively.
RequirementsAll staff must have completed the equivalent of a high school diploma, obtain 15 hours of continuing education every year and align with the mission of the church. Have a general knowledge and understanding of children and their needs. Must pass all screening requirements per DSS and First Presbyterian policies to include: health assessments, drug screening, and background check.
