NOW HIRING: Bookkeeper / Project Administrator



Gulf Shores, AL


Express is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Bookkeeper/Project Administrator to join our Clients team! This is a great opportunity for someone with construction bookkeeping or administrative experience who enjoys staying organized, working with numbers, and keeping projects moving forward.

What You'll Do

• Manage project bookkeeping, expenses, invoices, payments, and budgets
• Review vendor invoices and subcontractor pay applications
• Maintain accurate project WIP (Work in Progress) records
• Collect and maintain vendor/subcontractor documents, including W-9s and COIs
• Assist with permits, inspections, audits, and year-end 1099 processing
• Coordinate calendars, schedules, and project deadlines
• Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, owners, and municipalities
• Manage project tasks and databases using Asana and other company systems
• Support the Project Manager and leadership team with administrative needs

What We're Looking For

• Construction bookkeeping/accounting experience preferred
• Experience withQuickBooks Online
• Strong Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Gmail, and Zoom skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, professional, and dependable
• High school diploma or associate's degree required

Schedule & Location

• Primarily based out of the Gulf Shores office
• Some travel to local job sites and municipal offices required
• Primarily serving Baldwin County, with most work within 20 miles of Gulf Shores
• 30-40 hours per week
• Schedule may range from Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM or 8 AM-2 PM
• Some remote/off-site flexibility available
